The Saudi NCAP Admin Portal is used to create, review, and publish vehicle safety assessments for the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO). Four roles work together to move an assessment from creation to publication on the public website.

Assessment Editor

Creates and edits vehicle safety assessments. Fills in vehicle details, safety ratings, and test results. Submits completed assessments for review.

Assessment Reviewer

Reviews submitted assessments for accuracy and completeness. Can approve, return with comments, or make minor corrections directly.

CMS Manager

Manages the public website content — pages, protocols, and media. Works independently from the assessment workflow.

Admin

Publishes approved assessments to the public website. Manages user accounts and oversees overall portal operations.

The assessment workflow involves three roles working in sequence:

The CMS Manager works independently from the assessment workflow. This role is responsible for managing the public-facing website content:

  • Creating and editing bilingual pages (Arabic and English)
  • Managing protocol documentation
  • Publishing and unpublishing content pages

The CMS Manager does not interact with vehicle assessments.
