The core function — creating, reviewing, and publishing vehicle safety assessments with adult and child safety star ratings. Assessments follow a structured lifecycle from Draft through Published.
A Website Manager section for managing bilingual (Arabic + English) public-facing content pages, protocols documentation, and media files.
Master data management for vehicle makes (Toyota, Honda, etc.), manufacturers (corporate entities), and child restraint systems (CRS) used in safety testing.
Role-based access control with 6 defined roles, user management, and audit logging.
The portal uses a role-based access control (RBAC) model with sidebar navigation that adapts per role. Each role sees only the menu items and action buttons relevant to their responsibilities.
Assessment Editor
Creates and edits vehicle safety assessments. Submits completed assessments for review. Cannot approve or publish.
Assessment Reviewer
Reviews submitted assessments. Can approve, return with comments, or edit-and-approve. Cannot create or publish.
CMS Manager
Manages public website pages and media. Has zero access to assessments or system configuration.
Admin
Governs the publication pipeline. Publishes approved assessments, manages users, and oversees the website.
Super Admin
Full system control — system configuration, monitoring, audit logs, and all dangerous/irreversible operations.
Guest
Read-only observer. Can view the dashboard and assessment list but cannot modify anything.
